The Payments tab under the Billing section shows summarized bills per billing cycle, including total fees owed owed and any Seel fees refunds due to policy cancellations.
Here's a detailed explanation of each column:
Billing Cycle
This will give you the date span of orders are included in the invoice.
Fee(s)
This is the amount owed to Seel.
Credit(s)
Any Seel fees that have been successfully issued to the merchant's Stripe credit balance during that billing cycle.
Amount Due
The total Seel fees for policies created during the billing cycle that the merchant needs to pay to Seel.
There can be 3 statuses in this column:
- Paid: Seel fees have been successfully paid by the merchant. The payment date will be displayed next to the status.
- Unpaid: Seel fees are not yet paid by the merchant
- Processing: Seel Fees within the billing cycle have already been billed, but are still under processing via ACH and not received by Seel.
Actions
These are the actions you can take to manage your transactions within each billing cycle:
- Download details: Merchants can click "Download Details" to access transaction details for all activity occurring within the billing cycle. Transactions will be shown in UTC time.
The detailed billing statement looks like the following:
- Product: Seel service product name of the policy
- Cover ID: The policy's unique cover ID
- Store Order ID: The source order ID in your ecommerce platform
- Store Order Number: The order number from your platform
- Transaction Time (UTC): Date and time of the transaction
- Type: Transaction type (policy creation or cancellation)
- Amount: Dollar amount of the transaction
- Download invoices: Merchants can download the Stripe invoice for the billing cycle by clicking the "Download Invoice" button.
*Note that transactions occurring prior to July 19 can be viewed in the “View history” section. New billing invoices started on July 19.
