When you submit a payout request via Seel’s Resolution Center for a lost, damaged, or stolen package, our Resolutions Team may request that you obtain an email or letter from the shipping carrier to validate the issue.
If you are notified you need to provide this, the next step is to reach out to the shipping carrier who was in charge of delivering the package to request it. Please note that the reason Seel cannot request this on your behalf is that Seel is neither the sender nor the recipient of the package.
We ask that the following information be included in the email or letter:
- Package Tracking Number
- Recipient’s Name & Complete Address
- Product Description & Value
- Confirmation that this package is (lost/damaged/stolen or delivered to a wrong address).
