What is Worry-Free Purchase?
Worry-Free Purchase is a new product offering from Seel that provides shoppers with a single widget at checkout to purchase protections on their order in case something goes wrong. Worry-Free Purchase protections depend on the configuration you set up with Seel.
What is included in Worry-Free Purchase?
Depending on the configurations you choose, Worry-Free Purchase can support returns on otherwise non-returnable items and/or shipping protection.
Worry-Free Purchase can include shipping protection that protects your shoppers in case their order is lost , damaged, or stolen upon arrival to the shopper’s delivery address. The protections are communicated to the shopper at checkout, and will also be summarized s within the confirmation email sent by Seel after the shopper has opted- in. Worry-Free Purchase also includes offering shoppers a return option on items that you would not typically offer returns for - items such as clearance, final sale, etc. for a refund . This will be presented to shoppers at the point of checkout, and once opted-in, within the Confirmation email sent by Seel as “7-Day Return” protection.
For example, when a covered order has been received and the shopper determines that they no longer wish to keep the product, they can return this item to Seel within 7 days and Seel pays the refund to the shopper. Is there any time limit for issue reporting?
To qualify for a payout with your Worry-Free Purchase protection, your shoppers will need to follow the reporting time requirements by initiating the payout process within the Seel Resolution Center:
- For issues of loss, where the package is not delivered, the issue cannot be reported sooner than 30 days from the date it was shipped- for domestic shipments (and 60 days for international shipments).
- Issues of damage must be reported within 7-days from the date of delivery.
- Issues of theft must be reported within 7-days from the date of delivery.
- Requests to return must be reported within 7-days from the date of delivery.
