Installation Guide
Step 1: Get Your Seel Token
- Log into your Merchant Dashboard (MD)
- Navigate to Integrations
- Locate and select Zendesk
- Click "Get token" and copy the generated token
- Keep this token handy for the installation process
Step 2: Access Zendesk Admin Center
- Go to your Zendesk Admin Center
- Navigate to Apps > Zendesk Support Apps
- Click “Marketplace” in your Zendesk admin center
4. Search “seel” and select the app
5. Click “Install” and install the app to your Zendesk account
Step 3: Install the Private App
- Get the App File: Contact the Seel Support Team to obtain the
seel_zendesk_app.zipfile Upload the App: In your Zendesk Admin Center, click "Upload Private App"
- Select File: Choose and upload the
seel_zendesk_app.zipfile - Configure Settings: After successful upload, you'll be redirected to the App setup page
Add Token: Input the token you copied from your Merchant Dashboard
- Complete Installation: Click "Install" to finalize the setup
Using the App
Viewing Protection Contracts and Returns
Once the app is installed and enabled, accessing customer information is straightforward:
- Open Any Ticket: Navigate to the ticket details page in Zendesk
- Find the Apps Section: Look for the apps panel within the ticket interface
- Access Seel Data: The Seel Support App will automatically display:
- All protection contracts associated with the ticket requester's email
- All returns linked to that customer
Viewing Detailed Information
- Contract/Return Details: Click on any contract or return item to view comprehensive details
- Merchant Dashboard Access: Use the redirect icon to open the full Merchant Dashboard for advanced management and additional context
Troubleshooting
App Not Displaying Data
- Verify that the token was entered correctly during installation
- Ensure the customer email in the ticket matches the email used for Seel purchases
- Check that the app is properly enabled in your Zendesk settings
